Artful Hammerer

Artful's typist trained as an Engineer, specializing in Computer Aided Engineering. His skills include CAD, CAM and programming. He worked in this field for a number of years. After a visit to a home interior show, and his dissapointment at the "Forged" (mostly cold worked) iron work, he decided to learn to be an Artist Blacksmith, which he did in parallel with his engineering. Once he considered himself good enough, he applied for (and got) a job as a "Living" exhibit at a museum. Unfortunately before he was able to start this position, he suffered from heart-failure, which put an end to those dreams. 

While recovering from this, he discovered Second Life, and learned he could build inworld and thought he'd give it a go. 

Artful's business is called "Eclectic Fusion" and is named after his rich and varied skill set. His business carries the tag line ""Where Art and Engineering meet", 

Artful loves to build and has turned his hands to many things, from lighting, through clocks, motorcycles, boats, architecture and more. Art is part of his building, he likes to explore shapes that alter the space in which it is situated. He sometimes builds art influenced by other artists, but it is his own work that satisfies him the most.  His latest work is "Collection 3C", it explores sculptural forms in monochrome

Born and living in Spain, he has been working in Blender for more than 10 years, creating sculptures that come from his imagination in Second Life.

snakeappletree Resident

Scheherazade told of a time before sands swallowed the world which was. There was a painter of such immeasurable talent, his works shimmer far beyond our natural ability even to see it. Only one of his works remained, not even his best work, so it is said, a self-portrait with exhagerated characteristics.

When the Djinn, who being more magical than most mere mortals and are able to see the work, cried for the loss of such greatness, their tears fell onto the canvas which immediately sprang to life. Thus, the character SnakeAppleTree was born. He has wondered the world ever since, pondering what to do about the predicament. 

Ocassionally he makes a drawing but is wary, for his drawings also have a habit of springing to life in unexpected ways. Thanfully very few people of the moder age believe this without having experienced it for themselves, providing him with some safety.

It was not always so. For a thousand years he was locked up in an eastern castle, forced to draw nubiles by some mad mischievous Malik, and forgotten about. The lost palace is adorned with living fresco said to be portals into worlds of our collective dreams. it is also said he one day stepped through one of those and found his way here.
