Themed Exhibitions

I have always been deeply inspired by all forms of arts and crafts, experimenting with a large variety of media throughout my life. My introduction to the digital world of art began with photography, a hobby I pursued with great enthusiasm for many years. Later, I discovered fractal art, which ignited my interest in digital creativity. This led me down a path of exploration, incorporating my original photography, fractals, and abstract art into my mixed media digital creations.
Much of my inspiration comes from nature and my own experiences and emotions. Born in England but raised in South Africa, I returned to England 20 years ago. The widely diverse lifestyles of these two countries have definitely influenced not only my art, but also who I am.
I embraced AI Art as soon as it emerged, despite the naysayers who argue that AI isn't art - digital photography was once dismissed in the same way. I believe that art is freedom of expression, defined by aesthetic appeal and the emotions that the art evokes, rather than the tools that were used to create it. I like to push the envelope, experimenting and weaving my own elements into the creation, producing a unique and original style.
I will remain passionate about this medium: It's here to stay!

Amanda's art transcends cultural and economic boundaries, becoming a powerful storytelling medium.
Using vibrant hues and whimsical art, Amanda conveys messages that bridge different worlds.
Her acclaimed piece, "Sistas Helping Sistas," symbolizes unity among women from diverse cultures through dance, earning her recognition as the Global Businesswoman on xing.com. Amanda's art catalyses positive change, bridging gaps and fostering empathy.
Amanda's global influence is evident in her exhibitions across four continents, with clients in Europe, the USA, New Zealand, and Asia. Notably, her success extends to the virtual realm of Second Life®, where she thrives creatively. In 2023, Amanda built her sci-fi wonderland, Planet Tambalya, an imaginative world in Second Life® inhabited by the Tambalyan natives.
Breaking through the boundaries of both worlds, Amanda seamlessly integrates her real-world art into the virtual space and vice versa. Currently working on a book about the Tambalyans and creating merchandise for sale, she envisions inspiring others to reconnect with their inner child.

Elvira Mistwood is an art graduated RL artist who usually makes figurative and symbolic-mythological paintings. Her digital artworks are created with a unique process which requires multiple programs and lots of trials. Her artistic journey is about connecting different traditions in a more personal style with a mystical side.
Elvira has opened and organized a few themed exhibitions in SL and RL for this purpose. She is working a sponsored gallery that shows artworks from the eclectic styles including Dark art. She also writes fantasy fiction stories and occasionally enjoys roleplaying as well.
Her sponsored Gallery 9MUSES takes its name from the muses in Greek Mythology. Currently most of her personal works are in Souland Gallery, a few more are in Amsterdam as 9MUSES will have mixed ones for a while.
