A real life background in our corporeal world -- many group and single exhibitions, some awards, some literary mentions and web accolades -- all that goes with a career as an artist -- gave me a skillset I could use in Second Life.

I still like to tell a story -- often a quiet one of empty places where the participants of that world have exited or simply gone a siesta break. Most artwork is post processed these days but the starting point is always a bit of virtual photography in Second Life. I enjoy playing with the software sliders as well as exploring our virtual world.

I have always been deeply inspired by all forms of arts and crafts, experimenting with a large variety of media throughout my life. My introduction to the digital world of art began with photography, a hobby I pursued with great enthusiasm for many years. Later, I discovered fractal art, which ignited my interest in digital creativity. This led me down a path of exploration, incorporating my original photography, fractals, and abstract art into my mixed media digital creations.

Much of my inspiration comes from nature and my own experiences and emotions. Born in England but raised in South Africa, I returned to England 20 years ago. The widely diverse lifestyles of these two countries have definitely influenced not only my art, but also who I am.

I embraced AI Art as soon as it emerged, despite the naysayers who argue that AI isn't art - digital photography was once dismissed in the same way. I believe that art is freedom of expression, defined by aesthetic appeal and the emotions that the art evokes, rather than the tools that were used to create it. I like to push the envelope, experimenting and weaving my own elements into the creation, producing a unique and original style.

I will remain passionate about this medium: It's here to stay!

2024

I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon. I studied art throughout school, Commercial Art in high school and Graphic Design at Tyler School of Art/Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

I've always been interested in various crafts such as sewing and ceramics. I've also been active in music, playing piano, guitar and violin.

After the turn of the century, I decided to focus my creativity on acrylic and digital painting and have totally enjoyed the ongoing journey.

Known in SL since 2009 as JudiLynn India and RL as Judi Lynn, I find pleasure in sharing my love of texture, color and form with the virtual, global community.

My art embodies my spirit and personality. My goal is to allow you to experience the image with your mind's eye and allow it to effect you organically.

I work intuitively, getting lost in the layering of texture and color. Occasionally, I will include figurative work if my spirit is so presented with the composition.

Just as there is order in the chaos of the universe, the energy within me is brought into focus one canvas at a time.

My RL website for purchase of prints is: www.judilynnart.com

I can be found on FaceBook as JudiLynn India (SL Account).
